Step into a time machine and journey back to the dark, crumbling continent of Sarpadia. The Vaultkeeper’s Table invites you to an authentic retro draft experience featuring Fallen Empires—played exactly the way it was experienced over three decades ago.
This isn't just a nostalgic look back; it's a true historical recreation. We will be using the original 1994 ruleset. Yes, that means mana burn is real, batches replace the modern stack, interrupts are distinct from instants, and tapping an artifact shuts down its continuous effects. Dust off your old-school strategy, watch out for your opponent's combat tricks, and prepare to battle for survival alongside Thrulls, Homarids, Thallids, and Goblins.
Format & Pod Structure
The Card Pool: Each player receives 6 packs of Fallen Empires to draft and construct their deck.
The Grid: Players will be divided into Two 8-person pods.
Prize Support:1 booster pack per match win. Bring your best 90s tech to take home more classic cardboard!
Important Retro Note: Because we are playing by 1994 rules, we highly recommend brushing up on classic mechanics, phase structures, and old-school damage resolution before the first pack is opened.
